What is the Eligibility Criterion?

For programs that are less than 6 months in duration, you may be eligible for study without a permit.
1. Must get accepted into a program at a designated learning institute (Canadian College or University) with a DLI number.
2. Proof of finances that will allow you to pay for tuition, fees, living expenses and return journey at the end of the course.
3. Able to prove your intention to leave Canada within authorized period of stay.
4. Police Clearance Certificates
5. Medical exam, if needed

What are my options after the study program ends?

Depending upon the program you graduate from and the institution; you may qualify for a work permit which will allow you to look for a job in Canada. This helps with paying off your education loans and get invaluable Canadian work experience if you are interested in permanent settlement. You may later qualify to immigrate to Canada permanently under the Canadian Experience Class or Quebec Experience Class.
